Malaysia eVISA for Expatriates / Foreign Workers
Malaysia Expatriate eVisa Information
The Malaysian government introduced the Malaysia online visa, also known as eVisa Malaysia, to simplify the application process for expatriates and foreign workers seeking a single entry to Malaysia for professional employment.
To enter Malaysia, foreign nationals can apply for an eVisa through the eVisa system. Expatriates and foreign workers may complete the Malaysia eVisa application process online.
*The eVisa for these two categories only offers a Single-Entry Visa (SEV) for a single journey into Malaysia.
In this case, eVisa Single Entry Visa (SEV) is valid for 03 months from the date of issuance and a 30-day stay is permitted with no extensions allowed.
Upon arrival in Malaysia, the visa holders are required to obtain their long-term pass from the concerned authority.
